“How are people supposed to reform and make a change when there is a stigma attached to them?”
This week, one of the mothers that we support who cares for a child impacted by parental imprisonment spoke on BBC Radio Wolverhampton about her experiences. Vix shared her vision for how things could be improved for families going forward, and also spoke about the public preconceptions and stigma surrounding children and families with a parent in prison.
Following the interview, Vix has taken the opportunity to write a blog post responding to these public preconceptions.
